February and March
I was very blessed to be interviewed several times for radio shows and podcasts during February and March. Here are the links.
First, I shared the stage with Indie rock star author Elle Lothlorien on Pam Stack’s awesome radio show. We had so much fun that I actually infringed on Elle’s time. This is it here http://authorsontheair.com/radio-show/return-of-martin-crosbie-meet-elle-lothlorien/
Then, Carolyn Steel interviewed me (with her very cool English accent) for her Truckin’ radio show http://truckingtales.com/2013/04/22/trucking-in-english-podcast-martin-crosbie/#comments
Then, I hit the big time. Cyrus Webb interviewed me on his “Conversations LIVE” radio show. We were broadcasting live to folks in the Mississippi area as well as all over the world-wide web http://www.blogtalkradio.com/middayconversations/2013/03/25/author-martin-crosbie-stops-by-conversations-live
And finally, I got to speak on my good friend Ann White’s show also. It was a great way to wrap up my month of radio appearances. This is the link to Ann’s show http://www.blogtalkradio.com/creatingcalmnetwork/2013/04/04/book-talk

The Georgia Straight wanted more, so I gave them more. For a few days this was one of the most viewed articles on their site. http://www.straight.com/article-802686/vancouver/where-are-readers-selfpublished-ebooks
Tuesday Sept. 18th
The dream continues. I was fortunate enough to have a blog published by the Georgia Straight. The Straight is a local Vancouver alternative newspaper that I grew up reading. Weekly readership is 800,000. I had a great time doing it, hopefully they’ll let me do it again. http://www.straight.com/article-781941/vancouver/selfpublished-ebooks-can-get-boost-amazons-kdp-select
Tuesday Sept. 18th

Wednesday Aug. 29th
This is how trippy life is for me these days-I was interviewed by David Vinjamuri for an article in Forbes online magazine. This is David’s follow-up article to the controversial piece that came out two weeks ago in which Sue Grafton labelled indie writers as lazy. It was a real honour to be able to talk about my book and publishing through Amazon’s KDP Select. http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidvinjamuri/2012/08/29/how-amazon-quietly-subverts-bestseller-lists-with-kindles-kdp-select/
Friday Sept. 7th 3:30 pm
I’ll be interviewed by Ann and Pam from the popular internet radio show AUTHORS ON THE AIR. If you miss it, you can still listen to it afterwards. Thanks Ann and Pam for the opportunity.
Sunday August 26th
The good folks at Black Bond Books are going to have me over for a meet and greet from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. I’ll be signing books and talking about self-publishing, and stocking shelves if they want me to do that, too.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, Jacquie will have homemade cookies there too. Hope to see you there.
Wednesday August 8th
I’ve been getting some great media coverage in the U.S. A very nice article came out this past weekend in the Cullman (Alabama) Times.
Saturday April 28th
I had an awesome time being interviewed by my friend Beverly Akerman (author of The Meaning Of Children), for an article in The Globe and Mail. Yep, that’s right Canada’s huge daily newspaper did a full page feature on how I self-published my book. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/arts/books/how-to-become-an-e-book-sensation-seriously/article2415826/
